I live in West Manchester and for about a month now all the ARQA channels (Dave etc) have a very bad signal making the channels unwatchable. I would put this down to my aerial but my mum also had the same issue at about the same time. In both our cases we made no changes to our setups or aerials.
I don't know if it's just me and my mum having this problem but somehow I doubt it. I notice that Winter Hill is currently listed as having a possible weak signal and wonder if this is the cause of the issue and when, if ever, it will be fixed?

Andy: The best place to start with this issue us Single frequency interference . It is much more likely to be an issue at your location, with almost 3 million homes covered by this mast, a problem with everyone would be picked up very quickly.

Been getting poor reception for a few weeks in M43 postcode but saw weak signal message from winterhill. The message to retune after 25th August. Did this and it isn't picking up itv, 4, 5 etc. it does find itv hd etc. tried reset but that doesn't sort it. Tried manual tuning to the channels on this site (58, 59 etc) still to no avail. Any suggestions please?

Could it be that with COM7 on UHF channel 31 broadcasting at a fraction of the power of the other main UHF channels from Winter Hill, that some viewers are affected?

Just tried a signal test on my Humax DTT box. Zero reception for UHF channel 31 from Winter Hill.
