so much want waterloo road: I Suggest you try and get a replacement remote firat if you can ?

What tv make and model do you have and what transmitter do you use if you know ?

I doubt you can tune on the tv controls if it's a a quite modern set though

Dave, it is an Acoustic Solutions and I have bought a new remote but it doesn't want to recognise it. Perhaps it is best to just wait until tomorrow - will it be OK then? And I think the transmitter is either Whitehawk, or possibly Patcham.

still me, sorry, in case it helps anyone else, everything is now working except BBC1 &2. The remote has sprung into life as well.

Oh how strange, I get this when I have not used my DVD reocrder's remote for a week or so... if you just 'roll' the batteries while in the remote with your thumb the remote will work again I notice

you will have to wait until 2 weeks today 21st March for the 2nd stage of digiatl switchover though

Re lost of BBC 1 and 2 Did you do a re-scan ?

Dave: All you are really doing by rolling the batteries around in the holder is simply cleaning the contacts between them and their spring retainers in the casing, either of being slightly oxidised and requiring a light rub with some fine grade (1000+) carborundum paper.

Anyone else getting dupe channels on UHF 60.. I have BBC 3 listed on 7 and BBC 4 on 9, but both with no epg!
