Ian Commander: There are no plans to add additional HD channels to any transmitters. The channels you refer to are on the COM7 and COM8 multiplexes which are a temporary service broadcast from 30 main transmitters which cover around 75% of UK households and are expected to close in 2020. None of the broadcasters of these channels have announced what their future plans are.

ANDREW DAVIES: This is very likely caused by the high atmospheric pressure affecting various parts of the country, causing lift conditions which allow signals from distant transmitters which cannot normally be received to interfere with the signals from the transmitter you normally use. Do not attempt to retune as this will delete all of your channels which are already correctly tuned. As this is an entirely natural phenomenon, all you can do is wait for the atmospheric conditions to return to normal.

We live in Cannock Staffordshire and always had a really good signal using boosters from the Wrekin transmitter until a couple of weeks ago. A few channels on our main TV are saying there is no signal, but also our TV in the bedroom using a Freeview box has lost all channels and has no signal strength at all, that's 0%. So something must have changed.
