has now been granted a licence and speculation is that they will be using the space recently vacated by BBC3HD along with LCN105.

Thanks for the information re Channel5-HD. I understand that Channel5 declined an earlier offer of a slot due to financial reasons so BBC3-HD was substituted.

My post code is ST15 0PQ near Stone in Staffordshire. My TV is directed towards but being high up I can see from the village.
Recently I have had problems with BBC 1 HD going off saying "". Checking the signal levels I found the my TV was actually tuned to CH30 for this and other HD programmes where I also have problems. I believe CH30 is from the Wrekin transmitter which maybe is why the signal level is good & constant bet the level varies drastically.
I have now retuned but instead of accepting the sorting sequence highlighted, I stepped down one & used GBR sorting. I now have BBC1 HD on CH40, with perfect signal level & quality.
I this can anyone with similar problems

Andrew Harrington: work is presently taking place at the transmitting , likewise the problem referred to could well be related to events at said station, a notice warning of "possible weak " having been posted on the engineering page.

Hi

A friend of mine in her 80s at WR1 1NY Worcester is having trouble receiving 19 on COM6,
on her TV, I did a channel retune lunchtime but no channel listed. I have read that if you lose
one channel you lose the lot, so I will check the other channels tonight when I take her home. She has been having problems the last couple of weeks. has a weak signal at the moment! Is this the problem? She has a .

I live at WR9 7LE and have experienced no problems so far.

PS. I used to receive you email and luckily found your site again.
