My signals come from the Stanton Moor transmitter. Having enquired about BT vision, I've been informed that even after the switchover I will only be able to get around 14 channels, with almost 90 not available and that adjacent transmitters will be worse. Are there plans to upgrade the local transmitters?
Also what type of aerial do I need for this transmitter both now and after switchover? In particular does it need to be high gain, wideband etc.?

Bob Carter: The commercial operators do not regard this transmitter as profitable, and refused the offer of frequencies. There won't be any more channels broadcast from here.
As above "After switchover an existing group C/D aerial will provide all digital TV services."

Hi Richard:
I believe BBC National DAB has launched at Stanton Moor in the last few days to serve areas in the Peaks such as Matlock and Bakewell as I have seen a press release, but can't confirm if it is on air yet. You may need to perform a station scan on your DAB radio to pick it up.
