Please check the signal strengths reported by your TV sets. It needs, ideally, to be between 60% and 85%. andy more or any less will cause problems of pictures breaking up, loss of picture and/or sound, etc.

At present time my channel 22 which I view Dave TV on says no signal this seems to occur when we have a high pressure system over the uk , other times when we have different weather signal is strong any advice would be welcome .regards Brian.

High pressure often causes this type of signal loss and there is nothing anyone can do about the perfectly natural phenomenon. All you can do is check that all the aerial connections are in good condition, even unplugging any coaxial plugs/sockets and then refitting them. DO NOT RETUNE.

Last evening l lost several programmes, including Drama. I retuned and had a total of 29 programmes as compared with the normal 113 that'll have. Tried retuning this morning and now have my normal 113.
This was on my terrestrial aerial, on satellite everything normal.

Neil Hasted : Retuning is the worst thing to do when you loose channels as you are deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again, it will never fix a sudden loss of signal.

As StevensOnln1 says, retuning was the wrong thing to do. What you should have done was check all your aerial cables and connections. A poor connection can cause loss of one or more channels. If there are coaxial plug/sockets, unplug them and then refit. That will clear any corrosion/oxidation that is known to cause such problems.

Lost sky news on 233. All efforts to find again are negative.
Using Rowridge on IOW from Blandford.
Had it when I first installed this brand new Toshiba Smart TV
Have reinstalled various times but no Ch 233
Any advice please

Please provide your full post code, as is requested in the text above the entry box you used. Then we contributors can look at the expected reception conditions at your location.
You should also check all the aerial connections and cables. If there are coaxial plugs/sockets then unplug those and then refit. That will clear any corrosion/oxidation from the contacts, which is a common cause of the type of problems you describe. Retuning is a bad idea when one channel is lost as you are likely to lose others that were perfectly tuned before.

Aerial is on the roof.
Signal strenght is 100%
TV model no: Philips 50PUS6703
Missing BBC 1, BBC 2 and various other channels.
TV is up to date.
Tried indoor aerial, outdoor aerial both with and without a signal booster. Nothing i try is giving me all the channels. I have tried the reset procedure the best I can not having a box.
Any advise please?

Stuart Grant: What signal quality reading do you get? 100% signal strength could well be overloading the tuner with too much signal so it may be worth trying an attenuator. Resetting/retuning will never fix a signal problem and often just makes things worse by deleting channels which were correctly tuned to begin with.
