What Gaps? There were enough frequencies available to give almost national coverage for 5 . The same or similar frequencies are now used to broadcast the high digital so there is no space for a vast number of new channels. The original digital signal was transmitted at very low power so as not to cause with other transmitters.

However as the digital signal is less prone to interference it have been possible to add a 6th mux which is used for the HD channels. There is one unused HD available after the Olympics which has been turned down by so the BBC has put it up for bids. Other frequencies have been allocated at most transmitters for future use for national and . I dont think TV companies are rushing to get new channels onto !

I live in HR6 9NN and have a top with clear view to the South East. I have intermittent 'blocky' on and ITV 4. Do you have any ideas? Thank you, Michael Rowland

M Rowland: You do not appear to have line of sight with the top of the . The area in or around Westhope Hill is in the way with the slope being treelined.

The pixelation could be caused by damp in the woods. Does it happen more during dark?

I lost all BBc and ITV channels last night and still have no on these this morning.
