Sally-Anne Martin:
DO NOT RETUNE your TV as it is not a fault in the TV nor the transmitter. The current weather patterns appear to be affecting many viewers due to the high pressure systems. There is nothing anyone can do about that as it is a perfectly natural phenomenon.

Are there any plans for the Redruth transmitter to ever have the extended HD channels or are we essentially stuck with what we have now?
Thanks

Ken Woodcock:
There are no published plans to extend the services carried on the temporary multiplexes of COM7 and COM8. These are carried on 30 main transmitters only and are expected to cease at around 2022 when it is hoped that more multiplexes will be transmitted using DVB-T2 encoding that can carry more channels.

Roger Curnow: Are you using Freeview received via an aerial or Freesat received via a satellite dish? If you have both and neither are working then you have two separate problems. There is a recent engineering notice showing that the Redruth transmitter was off air for around 20 minutes 2 days ago but nothing since (and that wouldn't affect Freesat anyway). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?
