Relays provide a to places missed by the main transmitters - typically valleys across the direction of the signal.

Your location in Vicarage Lane, South Marston, Swindon is much closer to Oxford than Mendip . The Mendip transmitter is more like 70 km away rather than 7km (4.3 miles).

Mike Payne.as you are in the aylesbury area,the /east signals are sometimes picked up at the back of the ,more some receivers can jumble these with the oxford signals such as /bbc1 for example,and bbc oxford can finish in the 800s.

its your after signal strength on some receivers is at around 30% this is the maximum they will show but signal quality is at 97%,if the quality drops the strength bar rises then a loss of occurs.

either each oxford individually or wait to the scans just over half way and then plug in the aerial lead.this will bypass the lower sandy heath frequencies.

Well before the boost I had messed up // and getting home found Film4 absent from my listings so re-scanned. Film4's a bit skippy still but not as bad as before so I guess it'll be alright from now on, he says.

Robert - relays are to fill in for places where local geography gets in the way of the main 's . So even within a postcode which is best may vary from house to house.

Anybody having problems with on the . We're receiving all the other with at least 81% strength and 100% , but nothing on 62, which is showing as "no or bad signal". I've tried an automatic search and a manual one with no success. We are getting the Programme Guide, which I thought was transmitted on the same !
