I only mentioned a set-top Ariel because it's easy to move about and pick up what might be a very directional signal. I was even able to receive a signal from the Grampian transmitter for a very short period over the summer and that's a very long way away indeed.

Thanks for your advice, we haven't chosen the Eyemouth aerial, it just says that on Digital TV UK. We are using Sky (but not paying for it) for viewing just now, but we don't seem to get the number of channels you can get on Freeview. We have only just moved here and there is an aerial on the roof, but don't know if it's working correctly. Unfortunately I think we need to get someone in to have a look.

Lesley: You can get Freesat using the same dish as you presently use for Sky. This will give you more channels.
There are a few channels such as Dave that are not on Freesat that are on the Freeview full service and it looks as though Chatton is your only possibility for this at your location.

Eymouth seems to be very low power at the moment on the BBC block. My sister cut down 3 trees to see if it improved transmission but it didn't. Other neighbours are suffering the same.

OK, I can see that the Eyemouth transmitter is currently down. So I wont try and retune my TV. Your tracking seems to be working well, good job.
