I have had probelms with ITVHD wirh lip sync. I thought it was the Sony SVRHDT500B unit but all other HD were perfect. My supplier contacted Sony that gave him wrong info like using the coaxial audio out to the TV. This of course is no good as TV's do not have coaxial audio in. Its only there for audio amplifiers or dolby sound systems.
I contactec ITV who say there is no transmission faults at present.
I contacted Sony who said try doing a factory reset, this done made no difference. Then many hours later after trying three times;all the HD channels could not be found!
--- Answere to all of this is my was split to other devices and up till Sunday night worked other than lip sync problem. This morning by removing the splitter with the down lead now going straight in to the Sony unit, the channels have now all returned and lip sync on ITVHD is not perfect still but slightly improved. My strength has always been around 45% with error around 26% and still is.
