Came past the transmitter today and there appeared to be a guide rope attached to the top of the transmitter! Although i came past later and there appeared to be no evidence of any work taking place!!

Have two almost new digital T.V sets, built in Freeview, brand new aerial, located on roof. Perfect viewings till Tuesday 12th April around mid-day.I had lost channel 16, most of the 20's, with remainder poor quality. I contacted Digital.uk, who talked me through re-tune, TWICE, and after some 30 minutes I was advised to contact ITV. This I did, to be told that work was being carried out on the Brierley Hill Transmitter until approx 23rd April. I then contacted Panasonic who once again instructed me on re-tuning, unplugging, etc., some channels re-appeared, but after three attempts at re-tuning I was advised to contact Freeview, no luck there. Today, 14th April, 2-00pm I am still missing channels 16, 20, 23 and others which I assume will be referred to as multiplex. What is going on, and when can we expect the service we not only rely on, but pay for too. HELP !!!
