They have been rather poor at updating that site it was previously reported that if all went well it could be live by the end of this year (2022) but first half of next year is about all we might assume.
The new mast is already lit at night not sure how much is still to do with the major building.
The temporary masts are only serving larger towns and and have no hope whatsoever of reaching the dales located towards the coast which the full sized mast covered - so no point trying.

So, for example the Loftus relay only serves a large town? I don't think so!
There's a few coastal locations that can get good signals from Pontop Pike.
Some places a bit further inland could be quite variable.
But as you haven't given a postcode or even nearby location, it's pointless trying to comment further.

The report immediately prior to your post will be confusing because it actually refers to the original main transmitter mast.
The current temporary Bilsdale Tower is seperate.
Freeview are reporting "There are currently live outages in your area."
And the BBC have reported -
From 12:06am on 11th Jan 2023 BBC A Off the air due to essential engineering
It's possible that more multiplexes other than the BBCA multiplex (the main BBC SD channels) may be off-air depending on the nature of the engineering. This is obviously urgent unplanned engineering and I would expect signals to return as soon as they can complete the work. Do NOT retune, it will most likely just clear your correct tuning and you'll have to repeat it then when signals are back -and you won't be certain when that'll be!
If you have a smart TV and a reasonable internet connection, try the streaming services. A lot give the ability to watch live TV as well as on-demand programmes.

Well there is no coverage from temporary masts in plenty of rural areas away from towns, and there certainly isn't any here so not sure why I need to explain all that when the question is about when the rebuilt full size one might be live.
If nobody knows or they won't say then that's the answer isn't it.
