The same multiplexes will be broadcast from after each of the retune events, one as you know on the 23rd, and two more in Q1 dates TBA.

How will change (with each) will depend upon your and your postcode. If you are receiving all multiplexes satisfactorily at present, if you have a aerial, then it will be down to your postcode because some of the COM multiplexes (5/6/7/8) are moving and they will be to that are used by other transmitters and potential from them could affect reception. Whilst that's the case already with the other multiplexes that aren't moving, you already know what reception you are getting with them.

Meant to add, the change on the 23rd is COM8 moving to UHF56 and becoming an SFN (Single ) so you may find the received single is not quite as good as before. COM7 is moving to temporary UHF35. At the first retune in Q1 next year COM7 moves to UHF55 and will be a SFN. COM5/ArqA moves to UHF23. In the 2nd retune in Q1 COM6/ArqB moves to UHF26.

Well despite your distance from (92km) and some small changes in on the COM multiplexes, you are still predicted to have very good of all. Whilst you are much closer (2km) to which is also predicted to give very good reception, it looks as though that one stops transmitting COMs 7&8 in Q1 .
As long as you have a Group T/ aerial you should have no problems with reception see the covergae checker About us | Freeview

After the temporary COMs 7&8 multiplexes close altogether (sometime between mid 2020 and 2022 - definitive dates have not yet been announced AFAIK) then only a Group A aerial is needed (but of course a Group T /Wideband should do).

And after the COMs 7&8 close, only needs a group K (but Group T / would do) rods vertical for Sheffield direction 55deg., rather than horizontal for direction 91deg.

Sue: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections at the back of your TV and box? Switching the Sky box off at the for 5-10 minutes, then turning it back on causes the reset itself which can solve many problems.
