My mum has recently lost her sdn multiplex on freeview (ITV 3 , 5 USA, 5* etc).Tried resetting the box and retuning but to no avail. I have freeview and live just across the road from my mum and mine is working fine,any ideas why?

Kirsty: The channels now need tuning in again because they've been untuned by virtue of the retune.
Try a manual tune of UHF channel 30 if the receiver allows.

Film4 & film4+1 chaos.
Yes I've got that message about film4 moving. Yes I've re-tuned 3 times now. Each time it all looks as it should.....then a while later the 're-tune' message comes back up again.
Any ideas?

Rachel: If whilst viewing Film4 the message comes on informing you that Film4 is moving then its not being viewed from its new position on the PSB2 (ITV1) transmitter, as that message is only being sent out on the transmitter associated with Film4's old slot on COM6.
Should this be the case then remove the aerial and carry out an auto-tune whilst its removed to blank out the channels already stored, once completed reconnect the aerial and check that nothing is being indicated in the programme guide list (which it shouldn't be!) if not then carry out a final auto- tune to reload the programmes back into your TV or box.
If though you are only complaining about the message then just delete it, or dependant on the brand of the TV or box being used go into the set up menu and disable channel update messages, if whatever you are using allows!
Further advice can only be given when accompanied by a post code or one from nearby, e.g: a shop / post office, plus the model number of the device being used for reception.

Took your advice to get Film4 sorted. Completely wiped all the TV channels. Initially it did seem to update. But this morning its back to its usual self again. There is no channel 45 and Film4 has that silly message again.
My location is Holbeach, Lincs. Any ideas what is going on?
