UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Hi there, I have some very old am receivers and usually try and listen to GHR on 1170am. However, there always seems to be a problem with audio quality being very quiet. The signal is quite good though. Please help.

Keith:
You may be best asking them directly by contacting the station and asking them if the modulation depth is low on the Stockton Transmitter (1170 AM).
See Contact Us | Greatest Hits Radio for a choice of methods.
How does Virgin AM on 1242 AM from the same transmitter site compare? (Mind you they use 1kW power compared to 320W for GHR).
