Aldershot - Centre for Health (Surrey, England) analogue radio transmitter

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).
This transmitter has no current reported problems
The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Aldershot - Centre for Health (Surrey, England) transmitter.

For the last 18 hours the Aldershot Centre for Health has been having problems. Signal for local area is "on" for about 15 - 20 seconds and then "off" for about 30 seconds. Stations are showing no signal during the off period.

Fortunately the signal and stations are now back to normal. I would point out that the transmitter is on top of the Aldershot Centre for Health and is in HAMPSHIRE - not Surrey. Aldershot has been Hampshire "forever". Regards Roger

This is a free independent help site, nothing to do with the broadcasters etc. Whilst posters here try to provide help where possible, the site owner is the only one that can update information such as that embedded in the site and he's been unable to keep up with all the changes for the 700MHz clearance programme at this time, so I expect correction to the county name will not get much attention soon ;)
However, that said, I did a search the day before yesterday and could not find any information about this transmitter site. The only other possibility I've seen today is a small scale "Trial" DAB site on Block 8A 195.936 MHz.
Perhaps you could tell us what stations and frequencies actually broadcast from the Centre for Health site?

Thank you Chris. The site is indeed listed as "trial". I do not know which frequencies the stations transmit on. Stations using the trial site include: Angel, Radio Woking, Health Radio, BFBS Aldershot, 2 Gurkha stations, Cheesy FM and a couple of others. I have no idea how I would find out who the sire owner is. Obviously the county listing has been wrong from day one and, as you say, it is unlikely to be corrected soon. I just wonder if the site owner reads this site?

As there are over 1100+ transmitters in the UK, I doubt the site owner has time to read every page and probably reads very little here at present, hopefully some of the important detail resulting from the 700MHz changes will get updated. Transferring the data from OFCOM pdf documents is a manual task and I don't envy him the job.
Apart from Angel Vintage which is in Mono, and Brooklands Radio, Cheesy FM, HealthInfoRadio & Weather24/7Radio which are DAB+ Stereo HE-AAC v2, the rest are standard DAB Joint stereo.
As mentioned in the previous post it's Block 8A 195.936 MHz.
