I live in Manchester and listen to DAB radio Stoke and Stafford Musicals station.
The reception is poor and keeps fading out which is very frustrating. I thought DAB radio was supposed to overcome this problem.
Can you help ?

C Michaels: You're trying to listen to a station outside of its intended coverage area which DAB was never designed to do (the Stoke & Stafford multiplex was never intended to cover Manchester and has fairly patchy coverage according to the coverage map). It might be OK if you had a stronger signal or used a directional rooftop aerial pointed at the transmitter, but it would probably be far easier to listen online.
