Why are community radio stations, some of which cover an area comparable to commercial and BBC local stations, not listed on your local radio page?

I wonder why outside the London area covered by London Live local news is now so poorly served by the biggest national provider called My TV.

We recently stayed in a holiday centre in Somerset on the Bristol Channel coast and could only get the channels from Wales which should have been for the west of England. Surely this should not be.

What is the reason the Smithsonian channel has disappeared from our freeview screens? It was surely very popular regularly screening colourised images of original monochrome newsreels.
