Having waited forever for BBC Two HD I am surprised that on my Humax freetime box the programme is running correctly but the logo next to the channel number on the TV GUIDE remains BBC HD !
Not a problem on the Sky box or various FTA set top boxes,or terrestrial HD.
Also a strange C4 HD icon appearing on the top left corner of BBC1 screen.......have I imagined it all?
Well being 70 in October I expect so.....?

Hello,
Is there any 'known' plan(s) to introduce Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) sound to the UK broadcasts at all, either DVB-S/S2 or DVB-T/T2?
My surround sound receiver lit up 'blue' when I was lucky enough to receive a DD+ broadcast on the Astra 19E Servus HD channels.
As DD+ is discrete audio surround it could be great for surround sound fans.

Hello,
I am lucky enough to be able to receive both Beacon Hill and Stockland Hill main TV transmitters at quite good signal strengths:I have found that both have exhibited some inexplicable signal variations and that overnight the Stockland Hill Tx has broadcast some strange signals with non-standard channel names! I assume that the BBC and/or Arquiva are carrying out test broadcasts but have never been able to decode/demodulate them. It would be nice to know all that is going on?
The first thing we notice is the legendry 'new channels found',e.g.ITV4 +1 and BBC RB302 this morning. Ah well, progress in the dark is better than no progress? But it is ALWAYS nicer to know.
