Why cant both platforms supply the same channels? I know freeview has limited capacity but freesat dose not.

Very true, I do begrudge "having" to pay the licence fee just to see it go in golden hand shakes.

Same thing really.
BBC should compete for funding just like the rest of the TV and radio networks. I don't see why they should get money from the public by law.

Then the strongest stations would survive and the week would close. It's called market forces. £145 a year better off for every household and a big saving to public money.

Wouldn't have a clue what the mercury costs I don't have it, nor do I listen to the local radio. I would miss east midland s today but there are other ways to fin out local news. Hinckley times is only 50p a week.

Also even if it did become part of SKY package at least then you would have to choice to pay for it or not.

Is something going on at Waltham? I have lost all chanels on COM4 29 and the channels on COM5 56 are breaking up all the time.
