KHow digital television works

Fedbloodyupwithdigital: What most people DON'T realize is since they went digital the transmitter powers have been drastically reduced to mobile phone powers (nearly :-) ) but they have really reduced power from most if not all transmitters so reception from them unless you can physically see the mast will be dire it will not improve until they up the power, which is not going to happen so if you don't get terrestrial digital now you aren't going to until they up the power, give up trying it's crap anyway! and don't forget if you start to lose data then first it will go 'blocky' then bye bye no reception, at least with analogue you just get more grain until break up, you have to push that signal out with much more power than they do, they've cocked things up but they won't tell you that! It's free so how can you complain if you can't get it? they don't give a monkeys anyway, just give up and go freesat at least that works but content is 50% adds and poor progs, pay up or shut up if you want half decent TV :-) and we still have to pay for a TV license, it's all just a sick joke, what other country pays for a TV license, please let me know I haven't found one yet, they all laugh their socks off at the English, we are so easily conned! as the man said "they don't like it up 'em Mr Mainwaring' trouble is we do!!!!

Digital TV is rubbish, utter rubbish! I used to get excellent uninterrupted perfect analogue TV Group C/D from Waltham transmitter, now if there is any rain between me and the transmitter most channels just very badly pixelate (which in the UK is about 60% of the time) and I have a very good wide band high gain antenna, just what am I paying a license for? well actually I'm going to stop paying, why pay for something you don't get. As I'm writing this it's just gone off again! BBC 1 (50kW) is best reception but I'm not into buying and selling property, gardening or quiz shows, boring. Bring back good old analogue 250kW now that had some punch! and I know you can cram more crap into a smaller space digitally but that's all it is, more crap, I could go on but what's the point it won't change any pixels :-)
